Evolver One has returned to the local and international music scene with a new vocalist a fresh wave of songs and a dynamic single, titled ‘Don’t Have To Run’.

The guys are proud of the way the new record is sounding and cannot wait to begin performing their newly penned tracks live. “ We have been working for over a year on this to bring fans something unique and exciting” says Tulsa Pittaway.

After Evolver One’s previous vocalist quit the band last year an online singer search was on. East London based singer Lez Dart was commissioned to join founder Sean Murphy (Keyboards) and long standing member Tulsa Pittaway (drums) in Johannesburg where he has now set up home. “Lez’s vocals have definitely contributed a step up in the bands level of performance and song writing” says award winning producer Verny Scholtz (Just Jinger, Jesse Clegg, Johnny Clegg).

The band has spent the last 4 months at “Eleven Entertainment Studios” and is set to release their fourth studio album within the next few months. “ ‘Don’t Have To Run’ ” was chosen from at least six other possible singles. In other words, there are more on the way.” concludes Scholtz.
